Call Forwarding Scam

Vision Bank has been made aware of a phone scam circulating in our area. Scammers are calling customers while posing as the bank. They may claim there is an urgent issue and instruct you to enter a “security” or “verification” code beginning with *72 followed by a 10-digit number. This code activates call forwarding, which redirects your incoming calls and texts to the scammer, allowing them to intercept sensitive information like authentication codes.
