Your Vision Bank Switch Checklist
Switching to Vision Bank is simple—and we’re here to help every step of the way. Use this checklist to guide your move, and check off each item as you go.

☐ Step 1: Stop Old Account use
- Allow all outstanding checks and transactions to clear
- Stop using your previous account
- Destroy any remaining checks, deposit slips and debit/ATM cards
☐ Step 2: Gather Information
- Identify all bill payments to transfer
- Identify recurring deposits, withdrawals and transfers
☐ Step 3: Set Up Direct Deposit
- Ask your banker for a Direct Deposit Form
- Provide the form to your:
- Employer
- Government or benefits provider
- Other income sources
☐ Step 4: Transfer Payments
- Identify recurring payments such as loans, utilities or subscriptions
- Contact each applicable business or service provider
☐ Step 5: Enroll in Bill Pay
- Log in to your Online Banking account
- Find and click Bill Pay
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Your request for enrollment will be sent for approval.
☐ Step 6: Close Old Account
- Confirm all transactions have cleared
- Ensure your account balance is zero
- Contact your previous financial institution
